Bonnie Raitt is a national treasure. This record broke her as a commercial success allowing everyone to appreciate her excellence. Nick of Time also won a well-deserved Grammy for Album of the Year over some truly legendary competition: The End of the Innocence by Don Henley, Full Moon Fever by Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, and Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1. That’s quite a selection!

The album is chock full of amazing music and satisfying songwriting and Raitt displays a voice like warm maple syrup with a touch of spicy Cayenne slathered over buttery pancakes. Do you find this albums as delicious as I do? Let us know!
