I love this album. There is no filler. All the songs are really good. Some are even excellent! Count me as a fan. My rating:
Spin magazine called It’s Blitz “the alternative pop album of the decade…(that has) remarkable emotional depth and finesse.”1
Pitchfork said the band created “great, compelling pop-rock”.2
NME asserted “it’s no revolution, but ‘It’s Blitz!’’s heartfelt love letter to the transcendent possibilities of the dancefloor is an unexpectedly emphatic reassertion of why Yeah Yeah Yeahs are one of the most exciting bands of this decade.”3
The Austin Chronicle swam against the critical tide of high praise for the record: “Blitz is clean, easy, and catchy. The art is erased, but that strobe-light sweat smells just as sweet as spandex drowning in PBR.”4
Enjoy and listen without prejudice. Cheers!
